I've always been attracted to and collected sea glass. I love the feel... I like to think of the sea's energy, tossing the rough edged pieces around and around and finally washing them up onto the shore to be found. I have happy memories of scanning the beach with my dad for these tiny treasures. 

I try to use these pieces to capture the whimsy of the stories that nature has to tell in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and nearby shoreline towns. 

The sea glass and sea pottery fragments in these creations had washed up on beaches locally and as far away as Florida, Caribbean Islands, England, Ireland, Israel, and Hawaii. Some of these pieces, I collected from the surf; others, I purchased from other beach combers.
